New Internet Milestone in China: World's First "Internet Games College"

According to China Radio International, a college to provide training for the Internet games industry has just opened this week in Beijing.

China's Ministry of Information Technology, the Hong Kong Vocational Training Council, and a Beijing Internet company apparently devised the new college as a joint venture.

The college was established because of the demand for workers by Internet game developers.

In addition to advanced courses, students at the college will also take part in real software programming projects thanks to the school's close cooperation with renowned Internet game companies, China Radio International reported.

The college has also licensed 15 training centres to provide the same training program throughout the country.
